What is bornasuperstar?
Bornasuperstar is a talent show contest which helps performers get noticed or discovered. Viewers will vote on their favorite performer and help them win the contest. Once the performer wins they will be displayed on bornasuperstar.

How does the audition work?
Each performer will signup for free and upload a video. Once the video is uploaded, bornasuperstar will approve or reject the video. If the video is approved it will be displayed on the category that it was uploaded on. Voters will vote and or comment on your performance. The performers with the highest votes will make it into the talent show. We select the top 30 highest scores.

How does the talent show work?
Once the audition has ended the top 30 performers are now entered into the talent show. Each week the 30 performers will receive and email to enter a new video of their performance. If the video is received in time the video will be displayed. If bornasuperstar does not receive the video in time the performer is elimated. Each week the lowest scoring performers are eliminated from the show until we are left with a winner.

How long does the audition run?
The timeframe for the audition is approximately 7 weeks.

How long does the talent show run?
The timeframe for the talent show is approximately 8 weeks

What happens when the talent show ends?
When the talent ends auditions start for the next talent show. Emails will be sent out to all the performers that auditioned and did not make it the first round.

Do I need to signup to upload a video?
Yes you need to be registered user to upload videos or comment on performers.

How do I make a video?
Use a camera phone, a digital camera with video capability or a video camera. Once you have created the video all you need to do is upload the video. We will do the rest.

How do I upload the video to the correct category?
Sign in and go the category and click join audition. This then will bring you to the upload area for that category.

How come I do not see many videos?
When a new audition starts all other videos are removed and we start fresh. Within the audition time you will see many videos leading up to the talent show selection.

Is there a fee for bornasuperstar?
No, bornasuperstar is FREE

Is there a guarantee that the performer will be discovered?
No, we cannot guarantee that a performer will be discovered. But you will definitely get noticed!!!

What kind of video can I upload?
You can upload the following format, .mov, .avi, .grp.

What dimensions (height and width) does my video need to be?
The size of the video can be any size. We will convert your video automatically to display correctly.

What is the largest size video I can upload?
The largest size video is 16mb. This is approximately 4 minutes.

Can I vote more than once?
Yes you can

What version of flash player do I need?
For Windows&Mac systems: Adobe Flash Player 6 or higher
For Linux systems: Adobe Flash Player 7 or higher

Where do I get the flash player?
You can get flash player here.

I cannot see the video or hear it?
Check if flash player is installed on your system. If you can see the video but can not hear it, right click on video and select settings tab to change volume/speaker settings.

Can I place the video feed on my website?
Yes you can. Just go to http://www.bornasuperstar.com/play.

How old do I need to be to submit my video?
You must be at least 13 years of age to submit a video.

I just uploaded my video and I don't see it?
All videos are approved before shown on the auditions. If your video is approved you will be sent an email indicating the video was approved. If rejected you will receive an email telling you that your video was rejected.

How long does it take to get the video approved?
Depending on the amount of videos to review it could take anywhere from 5 minutes to 24 hours.

Can I use nudity or language in the video or obscene gestures?
No, when you become a member you will agree not to.
